Toners serve an important function in that, after cleansing you can use toner to remove traces of dirt, oil, makeup and/or traces of cleanser that have been left behind. In addition toners have been formulated to help restore the PH balance of your skin that may have been affected by the cleansing process. Depending on your toner some are meant to reduce the oil , and some are hydrating ; this always will depend on your skin type .
