What happens to your skin during pregnancy

Skin During Pregnancy:

As many of us know, or have seen, skin during pregnancy is often associated with a healthy glow. This glow however is not absolute and is balanced by a long list of not always comfortable and not always beautiful side effects. Hormones during pregnancy can be extremely erratic which tends to have a negative impact on the skin, and can even worsen pre-existing skin conditions like rosacea, acne, or dermatitis. Pregnancy can also make skin reactive to ingredients that never previously had an effect on the skin , or even improve pre-existing conditions.

Pregnancy may promote healthier skin, hair, and nails but is often accompanied by acne, unwanted hair growth, hair thinning, exacerbated existing skin conditions, pigmentation, spider veins, and stretch marks.
